We desire to provide free cleanings to people who cannot afford them: the elderly, disabled, terminally ill, and single moms struggling to make ends meet. In addition, it may be of interest to people who have served: in the military, emergency services, firefighters, police, etc.

Who I Am
My name is Lauren Cosgrove. I worked in corporate banking for 10 years before ending my career in 2018. I went back into the service industry to give me time for self reflection and discovery, seeking inspiration on what I wanted to do next and what would allow me to channel my talents and passion into my work.
While working at a restaurant where I previously worked as a teen, the owner’s wife, who I was close with before, knew of my hustle and drive and sought to use me at her other restaurant. She asked me one day if I would be interested in cleaning the party room at her restaurant for some extra cash. As a result of my excellent work, she asked me to clean her house as well. Over time, she referred me to friends and fellow business owners, and others who heard about me began to request my services due to my reputation for high quality work. My work was loved by everyone and I discovered that my passion lies in the service industry and that I am gifted at cleaning thoroughly, and delivering to and exceeding clients expectations.
Right around this time, the pandemic hit. Several of my coworkers and I lost our jobs when the restaurant closed. It was still necessary for us to earn a living. As my resourceful self, I decided it’s time to launch my own business. As one of my clients once said, “It’s my favorite day when you come to clean.” I thought, “What a novel idea: Favorite Day Cleaning.” So I got my LLC, bonded and insured my new business, made some business cards, and launched my Facebook page.
As I began to gain clients, I realized I was motivated by not only my personal values but also for the environment. My journey towards eco-friendly house cleaning was deeply rooted in a commitment to health, both my own and that of my clients. This commitment has led me on a journey of extensive research to uncover the most effective, sustainable, and non-toxic cleaning methods and products available. It became clear that adopting eco-friendly house cleaning procedures was the only way to align my personal values with my professional aspirations. I meticulously select our cleaning agents for their low environmental impact and their safety for both our clients’ homes and the broader ecosystem.
Having an 10-year-old daughter and running a successful cleaning business has helped me take control of my life, giving it meaning and direction. In my life, I have demonstrated tremendous drive, perseverance, and grit to myself and those around me. Through these qualities, I am able to provide my clients with a great service and run a successful business. In the process, I raise a happy, healthy, smart kid. It is my goal to show my daughter the value of hard work and determination in life and to inspire her to accomplish anything she sets her mind to.
